Status. Humans always assign status by traits or accomplishments, attributes, possessions, etc. But, while it is true all of the above require work, and thus acknowledgement, acknowledgement is different than status, which creates hierarchies of value. The question is can each of the entities placed in that hierarchy truly be compared, one to the other, in this fashion?
