I asked Angie what financial advice she might offer to our readers given these trying financial times. Here is her astute answer:

Angie: don’t panic, leave your money (under $250,000. per person, per institution) in a FDIC insured bank, don’t sell all your stock at a loss, (it’s not a loss until you sell) and turn off the TV. Panic never made a dime.

Info Acquisition Advice: Look at a chart of stocks in 1987…1999 and hope that pattern repeats.
